With our focus on maintaining high quality engineering solutions, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced supervisor to complement our technical and managerial capability. As Workshop Supervisor, you will work with the Operations Manager to ensure we deliver high quality engineering solutions to our clients on time, every time. With passion and dedication, a key part of your role is to inspire, lead and coach our technical staff to grow so that we can meet our strategic development plans. In doing so, you will pay attention to maintaining the high quality standards already in place by ensuring our staff undertake their activities in a timely, safe and organized manner. Leading the team in driving customer excellence, the Workshop Supervisor will also review and develop new procedures to ensure staffing efficiency, technological advancement and high quality performance at all times.
To apply for this post, you must have a minimum HNC/D level qualification in Engineering, Mechanical or Hydraulics. Candidates must also have sound experience testing/operating, repairing and maintaining equipment found in the J2 rental pool. Demonstrating experience of project management within a fast pace environment both on and offshore, you will clearly be able to manage our small team to work to client requirements.
With experience servicing ROV hydraulic tooling, you will also possess a good knowledge of operating / testing ROV electronic sensors. With exceptional attention to detail you must demonstrate your experience of working to a high standard. Indeed, with the need to provide technical support to our staff, we also require you to have good communication and coaching skills. Ideally you will have experience of developing a competency framework but as a minimum, you will have experience coaching technical staff to fulfil their potential.
